Brazilian metal legends Sepultura and Angra made history over the weekend, becoming the first metal acts ever to perform as part of the annual Carnival festival in Brazil. The bands performed side by side on Saturday, February 26th, performing a staggering total of 50 songs. In addition to the band's own hit tracks, they also performed classics from Rock greats like Queen, AC/DC and Twisted Sister. The bands played on the back of a truck as it drove nearly 3 miles through Salvador, the country's third-largest city and, to many, its cultural center. The rolling stage wound up at Barra beach, where fans had spent the day in the summer heat to reserve their spots close to where the truck was to be parked. The seven hour event was televised on television and the Web, and was later pronounced the largest audience to attend a concert in Brazil with national acts headlining. The clips below show the bands performing Queen's "We Will Rock You" and the KISS classic, "Rock and Roll All Nite".
