British pop superstar Adele continued to make history last week, as her latest album, 25, racked up another 1.16 million album equivalent sales in the US. It marks the first time in the Nielsen SoundScan era, which began in 1991, that an album has sold over a million copies in consecutive weeks. The album already held the record for sales in a week, as it debuted atop the Billboard 200 a week ago with sales of 3.48 million. The set's lead single, "Hello", is on a historical run of its own, topping the Billboard Hot 100 and the Streaming Songs chart for a sixth straight week. The track has also topped the Digital Songs chart for five weeks, and has been the most heard song on radio for the last four weeks. In addition, the official VEVO video for "Hello" has been viewed more than 625 million times since it was posted on October 22nd.
