Slipknot and Lamb of God were among the nominees announced Monday for the "Best Metal Performance" category of the Grammy Awards. Rounding out the category were tracks from Ghost, Sevendust and August Burns Red. The winner will be revealed February 15, 2016 at the 58th annual Granny Awards ceremony at the Staples Center in LA. Earlier this year, the lone Grammy reserved for metal acts went to Tenacious D for their cover of the Dio classic "The Last In Line", from the Ronnie James Dio - This Is Your Life tribute compilation. Jack Black's duo edged out Anthrax and their own tribute to Ronnie James, a cover of the Black Sabbath standard "Neon Knights." Check out the tracks that will vie for next year's metal Grammy below.
