A report on the British music website Loaded revealed Tuesday that Guns n' Roses have already been offered "megabucks" to perform with their classic lineup at the Isle of Wight and Download music festivals. The problem is, according to the site, that a Guns n' Roses reunion tour is at least two years away. Speculation about the reunion has been simmering for months, since frontman Axl Rose and primary songwriter Slash apparently buried the hatchet. A number of sources claim that a reunion is all but certain, but that Axl and Slash need months to honor their existing commitments. The article on Loaded.co.uk did not specify how big the offers from Isle of Wight and Download organizers were, but cited another source who claimed the band wouldn't play Glastonbury festival because it does not pay enough. In recent years, bands as huge as Metallica, U2 and Mumford & Sons have performed there.
