Resurrection Kings, the new supergroup formed by former Dio guitarist Craig Goldy and drummer Vinnie Appice, released a single entitled "Distant Prayer" this week. The track, which can be heard in the YouTube clip below, is the lead single from the band's self-titled debut, due in stores January 29 on the Frontiers Music imprint. The album can be pre-ordered in digital form now on iTunes, while "Distant Prayer" and "Who Did You Run To" are available now as digital downloads. Check out the cover art for the set below.

Resurrection Kings was formed by guitarist Craig Goldy (Dio, Rough Cutt, Giuffria and Dio Disciplles), along with longtime Dio drummer Vinnie Appice (also of Black Sabbath and Heaven and Hell). Vocals are handled by former Lynch Mob and Tribe of Gypsies frontman Chas West, while former Great White and Dokken bassist Sean McNabb rounds out the lineup.
