Evanescence frontwoman Amy Lee celebrated the launch of her new YouTube channel this week with a cover version of the Led Zeppelin classic, "Going to California." Check it out in the clip below. About her decision to cover the song, Lee noted that it is a classic that she has loved for as long as she can remember. "It puts me at peace," the singer explained. "My friend and manager, Jordan, had recorded the instrumentation for fun and when I heard it a few months ago, I knew instantly that I had to sing on it," Lee said.  The singer also noted that the song has become a favorite bed-time lullaby for her son, Jack. Of course, Lee is no stranger to re-imagining classic hits, as she has previously released versions of U2's "With or Without You" and Portishead's "It's A Fire."
