Iconic rapper and marijuana activist Snoop Dogg announced on Monday he is launching an Internet-based platform to inform people about his favorite subject, weed. The rapper made the announcement alongside his partner in the endeavor, Ted Chung, at Monday's TechCrunch Disrupt conference in San Francisco. The website, MerryJane.com, will launch in October and feature video content about the benefits of using cannabis and other related subjects such as how to make edibles and how to choose the best strains. The website is already up, but only has a signup form for interested users who want to be included in the beta test version. Snoop and his partner say that 420 test memberships will be granted daily until the website launches for good. Mr. Dogg also noted that the site will feature pot-related interviews with celebrities, including Miley Cyrus and Seth Rogen.
