New England Prog metal veterans Fates Warning will reunite with founding frontman John Arch next year at the ProgPower USA festival in Atlanta.  Scheduled around the 30th anniversary of the release of the band's critically acclaimed third album, Awaken the Guardian, the reunion will feature the lineup that appeared on the set.  In addition to Arch on vocals, original members Jim Matheos, Joe DiBiase and Steve Zimmerman will join Frank Aresti, who replaced original Fates Warning guitarist Victor Arduini, who left after the second Fates Warning record.  At the ProgPower reunion, the band will perform the Awaken the Guardian album in its entirety, plus a handful of classics from the band's first two albums.
