Punk legend Dez Paul Cadena is currently undergoing treatment for throat cancer, but is vowing to return to performing within the next year. The singer and guitarist for Black Flag, the Misfits, DC3, Ella & the Blacks and Redd Kross had a malignant tumor removed from his larynx in the spring, and recently finished a round of intense radiation treatments. A group of Cadena's friends have started a GoFundMe campaign to help with medical bills, and the campaign has raised just nearly $10,000 in its first six days.
