Thrash legends Slayer released a new song titled "When the Stillness Comes" on Thursday, in anticipation of Record Store Day on Sunday. The band made the track available online three days before it's available in a limited-edition seven-inch vinyl picture disc, with a live version of the 1983 classic "Black Magic" on the B-side. Only five thousand copies will be distributed of the single, which will only be available in independent record stores worldwide. "When the Stillness Comes" is also set to be included on Slayer's new CD, which they recently finished recording with renowned producer Terry Date. The album will be the band's first without founding guitarist Jeff Hanneman, who died last May after a bout with liver cirrhosis. The album also marks Slayer's first release on Nuclear Blast after a 28-year relationship with producer Rick Rubin and his American Recordings label.
