VH1 announced on Thursday that Season 14 of their flagship s program, "That Metal Show" will begin airing on Saturday, February 21. The show will continue to be hosted by longtime heavy metal interviewer Eddie Trunk, with comedians Don Jamieson and Jim Florentine also reviving their roles on the show. The new season will consist of 12 episodes, and tickets for upcoming tapings are on sale now. Episodes will be filmed at New York's Metropolis Studios on Tuesdays, according to the press release, with the episodes airing on the following Saturday night. The aitime for the show has been changed, as well, and will now air at 9 PM ET / PT on VH1 Classic.
"It's been a bit of a lay-off but I'm so thrilled to be coming back with season 14 of 'That Metal Show' on February 21st at our new time of 9 p.m. ET!" exclaimed host Trunk following the announcement. "We're already lining up a great roster of new and returning guests from the world of rock and metal that I'm sure everyone will love," Trunk added. Neither VH1 nor Trunk revealed any possible guests for the new season. Past guests on the show have included members of some of the biggest hard rock and heavy metal acts in the world, including Black Sabbath, Metallica, Judas Priest, Van Halen and many more.
