Alternative rockers the Silversun Pickups on Wednesday filed a cease-and-desist order ordering Mitt Romney's Presidential campaign to stop using the band's 2009 hit "Panic Switch" at campaign events. "We don't like people going behind our backs, using our music without asking, and we don't like the Romney campaign," read a statement from the band. "We're nice, approachable people. We won't bite. Unless you're Mitt Romney!" The order continues a recent trend of musicians taking action over politicians using their music without permission. During the last Presidential campaign alone, in fact, Jackson Browne, the Foo Fighters and John Mellencamp all issued similar orders against Republican candidate John McCain.
