Officials with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland announced on Monday they will honor legendary rock pioneer Chuck Berry this fall as part of the Hall's American Music Masters series. Inducted into the Hall in 1986, Berry will be honored by an all-star tribute concert on October 27th, which caps off a week-long celebration of his musical legacy at the Hall and Western Reserve University. Performers for the tribute concert have not been announced, but Berry himself has confirmed he will perform. Previous honorees of the Hall's American Music Masters series include Woody Guthrie, Janis Joplin and Aretha Franklin.
