James Rosemond Confesses Involvement in Tupac Shooting

James Rosemond, the Czar Entertainment CEO also known as Jimmy Henchman, has reportedly confessed to authorities that he was involved in the 1994 shooting of rapper Tupac Shakur at the Quad Recording Studios in New York City.  Rosemond had been suspected in the assault on Shakur since it occurred, sparking a West vs. East Coast hip-hop feud that also prompted the murder of the Notorious B.I.G.  According to a report from Village Voice writer Chuck Philips, Rosemond made the confession during a proffer session for a separate drug trafficking charge for which he is currently serving time.  (A proffer session is where a defendant provides testimony in exchange for immunity to further charges)  Over the weekend, Rosemond was charged, late last week, with hiring a hitman to murder a Bronx man in 2009.
