Legendary metal singer Geoff Tate, who was relieved of his singing duties by his longtime band Queensryche earlier this month, announced Sunday he has signed a multi-album recording deal as a solo artist with InsideOut Music. "I'm very excited to join forces with InsideOut Music," the singer noted in a statement. "They are very committed to progressive music and care deeply for their artists, working together with them to bring music lovers worldwide some of the most compelling rock music available." According to a separate statement from the label, Tate won't be wasting any time in getting his InsideOut career going, and expects his first effort on the imprint in stores by the fall.
