Pop superstar Katy Perry announced Wednesday she is launching her own recording label. The 27 year-old singer and actress told the Hollywood Reporter she is in the process of putting together the as-yet-unnamed label now. In the meantime, Perry is preparing for the release of her big-screen debut in "Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D," which hits theaters next month.
Even though she's only 27, Perry is already one of the most accomplished pop stars on the planet, with a total of 11 Top 10 singles and nearly 4 million albums sold in the US alone.
