Folk legend Bob Dylan was at the White House on Tuesday to receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Barack Obama, who said he is a huge fan of the iconic singer and activist.  The Medal of Freedom is the highest honor the United States bestows upon non-military citizens.

"Bob's voice, with its weight, its unique gravely power, was redefining not just what music sounded like, but the message it carried and how it made people feel," the President said in his introduction of Dylan.  Dylan's political stances and activist mentality, Obama noted, paved the way for dozens of politically active musicians that would come later including Bruce Springsteen and U2, among others.  CHeck out a brief clip of Dylan's Medal of Freedom ceremony below.
