Iconic Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell discussed the band's latest album in a recent interview with Washington D.C. DJ Elliot Segal, which aired on the "Elliot In the Morning" show on Tuesday. Cornell also talked about the band's recently dropped single, "Live To Rise," which was written for the soundtrack to "Marvel's The Avengers," which is well on its way to being the most successful film at the box office ever. A relase date has not been officially announced for Soundgarden's as-yet-untitled album, which will be its sixth; but Cornell said in the interview that it will be out by October 25th.
