Following the iconic rapper's death last Friday, the Red Hot Chili Peppers dedicated their Friday night performance in Newark, New Jersey to fallen Beastie Boy Adam "MCA" Yauch. Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis wore a homemade "MCA" t-shirt during the concert, and the band played a Beastie Boys classic, "Watcha Want" during the show. The two bands have maintained a close friendship for years, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame together in March, although Yauch was unable to attend because of the cancer that would eventually claim his life.
