After scoring a trophy case-full of awards for her songwriting over the years, R&B superstar Beyonce will soon add a literary prize to her resume when the NY chapter of The National Association of Black Journalists recognizes her for a story she penned for Essence Magazine. Written in the first-person, Beyonce's piece was titled "Eat, Play, Love," and chronicled how taking a break from music changed her life.  The NABJ will present the award to the singer at its annual Scholarship and Awards Banquet in New York on May 15th.
