1960s pop singer Bobby Vee announced on Tuesday he has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. The news comes even as the 69 year-old singer is working on a new album. Born Robert Velline in Fargo, North Dakota, the singer also released a new video for his rendition of the Townes Van Zandt classic "If I Need You" online. The video features studio footage and stills of Vee and his family, including Vee's wife, Karen Velline, who is also dealing with health issues, and is scurrently on a waiting list for a lung transplant.
