Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas, the surviving members of the 1990s R&B trio TLC, are preparing a new album and tour to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of their first album. VH1 has also signed up to produce and air a movie about the iconic girl group.
The group's third member, Lisa "Left-Eye" Lopes, passed away in a tragic car accident in the Honduras ten years ago, but she will still take part in the reunion tour via archival footage used during the tour. The album, tour and movie are slated to be released before the end of the year, though exact dates have yet to be worked out. TLC, with more than 50 million albums sold globally, are the second-most successful female group of all time, behind only the Spice Girls.
