British metal fans were crushed to learn on Tuesday that the organizers for the Sonisphere Festival have canceled this year's even due to what they referred to as a "very challenging year."  The festival was to have taken place July 6th through the 8th, and was to feature headliners KISS, Queen (with American Idol winner Adam Lambert), and Faith No More.  Evanescence, Marilyn Manson, Mastodon and Flogging Molly were also slated to perform.  Ticket holders for the event will receive full refunds.
