John Mayer announced the dates Monday for his first extensive US tour in two years.  The singer also released a new single, "Shadow Days," debuting a 60-second clip of the track on his Tumblr page with the full version hitting radio.  The track is the first released from Mayer's upcoming fifth studio effort, "Born and Raised." 

A release date for "Born and Raised" has not been announced, but the timing of a scheduled  press conference has sparked speculation the album will drop right after the tour concludes on May 6th.  Mayer's tour kicks off April 9th with a performance at the Indiana University Auditorium in Bloomington and wraps May 6th in Phoenix with a total of 18 stops along the way.  Click Here for a list of stops.
