Breakout soul star Adele cleaned up in terms of nominations for BRIT Awards, which were announced over the weekend. Coldplay and Florence & the Machine were also among the top nominated acts. Adele was nominated for Album of the Year for "21," which was the top-selling album of 2011 in the UK, as well as receiving a nof for Best Female Solo Artist and Best Single for "Someone Like You."
