Pop superstar Lady Gaga is no stranger to America's civil court system.  The singer has been sued by a former manager and others, and has filed her own share of lawsuits against entities using her likeness or music for unauthorized purposes.  Now Gaga has been named in yet another lawsuit, this one filed by a former assistant who claims she was never paid for thousands of hours of overtime work over the last few years.

Jennifer L. O'Neill claims in her suit that while she was paid a handsome $75,000 salary when she worked for Gaga from late 2009 to March of this year, the salary did not include more than 7,000 hours of overtime she worked for the pop icon.  A rep for Gaga said the statement is "completely without merit," and the singer will fight the complaint, filed earlier this month in the 14th District Court in New York.
