The results of the autopsy on deceased rapper Heavy D, released Tuesday, show that the legendary hip-hop artist died as a result of a blood clot in his lung. According to the LA County coroner's office, the blood clot was "most likely formed during an extended airplane ride." The rapper, whose real name was Dwight Arrington Myers, also suffered from deep leg vein thrombosis and heart disease. Heavy D was discovered on a walkway near his home on November 8th by a neighbor. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival.
