Guns n' Roses and the Beastie Boys will be among the inductees at the 27th Annual Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame Inductions, set to take place April 14th in Cleveland. The 2012 class was announced Monday, and also includes The Faces, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, late singer / songwriter Laura Nyro and Donovan.
The ceremony will mark the first public appearance of the Beastie Boys since they went on a hiatus after Adam "MCA" Yauch was diagnosed with throat cancer, and speculation has already begun as to whether GnR's original lineup will get together to accept the honor. Frontman Axl Rose is the lone original member still performing with the iconic band.
The induction ceeremony will not be broadcast live, but HBO will tape the event and air it in early May. Tickets go on sale for Rock and Roll Hall of Fame museum members December 16th, and to the general public the following day. Tickets are priced at $50 and $100.
