British rockers The Darkness on Monday unveiled a fresh round of North American tour dates for next year to coincide with the reunited group's first new album since 2005. The trek will be the band's first on this side of the Atlantic since 2004, kicking off February 1st in Toronto and wrapping up later that month with a show at the historic Fillmore in San Francisco, California. The band's third album, which does not yet have a title, will be released in the spring.
Following the success of its first two albums, The Darkness disbanded in 2006 when frontman Justin Hawkins left the band to attempt a recovery from drug and alcohol abuse. Hawkins has spent some of the past few years recording and performing with Hot Leg, while several other members formed the band Stone Gods. Click Here for a list of 2012 the Darkness tour dates.
