R&B legend R Kelly announced Wednesday that his long-awaited autobiography "Soula Coaster" will find its way to bookstore shelves next Spring, disappointing thousands of fans who were hoping the book would be released this year. Previous reports indicated the book would be out on Novemeber 15th, but co-writer David Ritz and SmileyBooks, the publisher of the upcoming book, confirmed that the book will not be available until next Spring.
R Kelly first announced his intentions for a tell-all book back in 2009, says he's telling his story to clear up a lot of misconceptions about him and his career. ""I'm tired of being misunderstood," the musician wrote in the autobiography's 2009 press release. "I will show you the tears, fears, and sweat. I will open my heart and reveal the good in my life as well as all the drama. I want to tell it like it is."
