Country music legend Loretta Lynn was admitted to the hospital over the weekend and has been forced to cancel a series of tour stops again because of illness. The 76 year-old singer has been diagnosed with pneumonia, canceling secheduled performances Saturday in Ashland, Kentucky and Sunday in Durham, North Carolina.
According to a message on Lynn's official website said she was disappointed she had to miss the concerts, but that doctors have advised her to rest and she hopes to be healthy enough to perform in time for her upcoming Novermber dates. Both the Ashland and Durham shows, the website said, will be rescheduled.
