The Los Angeles County coroner's office reported Thursday that the official cause of death in Warrant frontman Jani Lane's death was acute alcohol poisoning.  The 47 year-old singer was found dead in a motel room on August 11th.  Lane's later years were plagued by alcohol and drug abuse, including serving time in jail for driving under the influence twice.
