Iconic crooner Tony Bennett is set to make Billboard Hot 100 history Thursday when his duet with the late Amy Winehouse, a cover of the 1930 pop standard "Body and Soul", debuts at No. 87 on the singles chart. At 85 years and two months, Bennett will be the oldest artist ever to send a song to the Hot 100, surpassing George Burns, who was 84 years, two months when his "I Wish I Was Eighteen Again" last appeared on the chart in late March 1980.
Bennett's duet with Winehouse is a preview of his upcoming set titled "Duets II," which arrived in stores Sunday. According to Nielsen SoundScan, "Body and Soul" moved 25,000 downloads in its first week. Check out the video for the track below, filmed before Winehouse's tragic death in July.
