Country superstar Carrie Underwood appeared on Ryan Seacrest's radio talk show over the weekend, confirming that she is currently about hqalfway through the recording of her next album.  "I've been writing quite a bit. And I've been in the studio a little bit. So I probably have about half an album done right now and trying to fill in the gaps and figure out what pieces of the puzzle are missing, but it's a fun time right now figuring everything out," Underwood told Seacrest.  When asked about releasing a new single, she told Seacrest that it's still too early for that.
