Judas Priest has joined the long list of legendary bands to announce a farewell tour only to release new music and continue performing after.  As the band is in the midst of its current Epitaph World Tour, advertised as the band's last, frontman Rob Halford revealed in an interview with Billboard that the band will have a new album out in 2012.  Accoding to Billboard, Halford says that he and guitarist Glenn Tipton have written 12 or 14 trackswith four already mixed and ready to go.  Priest recently finished off the European leg of the tour, and is scheduled to begin a 12-date South American trek September 10th in Sao Paolo, Brazil before heading North to start the North American leg October 12th in San Antonio, Texas.  The tour is set to conclude December 3rd at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi.  Click Here for a full list of dates.
