According to a report from MyFoxDetroit.com, Apple's iTunes digital music service has signed an agreement to begin selling digital versions of Aerosmith's early albums. Th eband's more recent material has been available on the site for some time, but the new agreement will allow the service to begin selling digital versions albums from the band's 1973 self-titled debut to 1987's "Permanent Vacation". According to the report, the albums will be available starting September 6th. Classic Aerosmith music has gained in popularity since frontman Steven Tyler became a judge on "American Idol," with sales of Aerosmith albums up 260 percent.
