Legendary rocker Gregg Allman annuonced on Monday that he is canceling his remaining tour dates scheduled between August 26th and September 15th.  Allman has been ordered by doctors to call off the tour due to a lingering upper respiratory condition that previously forced the singer to cancel the last few dates of his European tour.  Allman will reportedly be hospitalized for several days, after which doctors have prescribed 4 - 6 weeks of home rest.  Allman is expected to return to the road in the Fall after recovering completely from the ailment.  No word yet on rescheduled dates for the shows that have been canceled.
