R&B star Beyonce announced over the weekend she will treat New Yorkers to a series of four intimate concerts in August at the Roseland Ballroom.. The former Destiny's Child star will perform her latest album, "4," in its entirety at the shows, for a crowd of about 3,000 for each show.  The singer is calling the series "4 Intimate Nights with Beyoncé," and the shows are scheduled for August 14, 16, 18 and 19.  Tickets for the special concerts will go on sale Wednesday, August 10th, with tickets for the first show available at 1PM ET, and tickets for the other shows available one hour apart.  CitiCard holders, however, will get first crack at all tickets, with a special presale starting an hour before they become available to the general public.
