Kings of Leon announced Monday they are canceling their entire US tour after frontman Caleb Followill's onstage meltdown during a show in Dallas Friday night. The singer walked off the stage in the middle of the set after claiming it was too hot, and the band subsequently canceled its scheduled show in Houston the following night.
"We are so sorry to say Kings of Leon are canceling their entire US tour due to Caleb Followill suffering from vocal issues and exhaustion," reads a statement from the band's publicist. "The band is devastated, but in order to give their fans the shows they deserve, they need to take this break."
The statement also explained that the dates will not be rescheduled at this time because of the band's international tour schedule. Tickets published online or by phone will be refunded automatically, and all other tickets will be refunded where they were purchased.
