A new box set chronicling the career of British alternative rockers The Smiths is reportedly on the way from Rhino Records.  Titled "The Smiths - Deluxe Collectors Box Set," the package will contain eight remaster albums, 25 7" single reproductions, posters, vinyl copies of the albums and more.  The label will only make 3,000, a spokesman said, and the set will sell for $409 retail.  The remastered albums will also be available in box sets in both CD and vinyl formats.  The box sets will go on sale on October 3rd.
