A collection of never-before-published photographs of the Beatles taken at their early copncerts in the US fetched more than $360,000 at a recent auction at Christie's in New York. The photographs were taken by an unknown photographer named Mike Mitchell, who was a teenager at the time he took them. The photos were taken two days after their legendary US debut on the "Ed Sullivan Show", and include shots from a pre-concert press conference as well as performance shots taken from the band's February 11th concert at the Washington Coliseum.
