Cheap Trick was reportedly about 20 minutes into their set Sunday night at the Bluesfest in Ottowa, Canada when a storm with high winds blew in. Luckily, the band were escorted off the stage, along with everybody else, just minutes before the stage collapsed as a result of the violent winds. Check out video of the stage collapse and the ensuing panic below. Cheap Trick frontman Robin Zander confirmed on his Twitter a few hours after the near-miss that the band were safe. Local authorities confirmed after a thorough search that nobondy was injured when the stage went down. All remaining performances at the even have been canceled.
