Minnesota cogresswoman and presidential hopeful Michelle Bachmann reportedly walked onstage at a rally on Tuesday to the sounds of Tom Petty's classic track, "American Girl".  Word apparently got back to Petty pretty quickly as later the same day his representatives hit Bachmann's camp with a cease and desist letter.  This isn't the first time Petty has had to ask a Republican presidential hopeful to stop using his music, George W. Bush received a similar letter from him back in 2000 after using Petty's "I Won't Back Down".
