The black and red leather jacket worn by Michael Jackson in the "Thriller" video reportedly sold at auction for a staggering $1.8 million over the weekend. A gold trader from Texas named Milton Verret bought thejacket, and will reportedly use the piece to raise money for children's hospitals around the world. In fact, Verret says, he has already scheduled plans to display the iconic jacket at Dell Children's Hospital in Austin, Texas. There were actually two versions of the jacket made for the video. The one that sold Saturday was autographed by Jackson, who passed away two years ago, and the other is owned by Jackson's estate.
