Drake Slams Universal for Taking Down New Songs

Popular Canadian rapper Drake took to Twitter over the weekend to slam his record label, Universal Music, for demanding that he take down two new songs that he had posted on his blog.  ""Universal needs to stop taking my f--king songs down" the Young Money artist tweeted. "I am doing this for the people not for your label."

Drake had posted "Marvins Room," and "Trust Issues" on the Web, and as of Sunday appeared to have complied with Universal's request.  Drake later announced that an "official version" (I assume that means the label has approved the release) of a new single will be out next month.  The rapper's sophomore album, "Take Care," will be in stores on his birthday, October 24th.  Universal Music has declined numerous requests for comment.
