Willie Nelson has managed to avoid jailtime in Texas over a November 2010 marijuana charge, when he was arrested with six ounces of the drug in Sierra Blanca, Texas. According to Nelson's attorney, the country music legend entered a no contest plea to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Nelson was ordered to pay a fine of $500, but will not serve any time in jail. The original charge filed against the singer carried a maximum penalty of two years. The arrest was the third time Nelson has been charged with drug possession charges.
