People magazine is reporting that former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger will be the host for Simon Cowell's X Factor when the American version of the popular British singing talent show debuts.  Scherzinger appeared on the British version in July as a guest judge to rave reviews from fans, judges, and even Cowell, who praised the 32 year-old singer/actress on his radio show in March.  Recently Scherzinger has appeared in the NBA's introduction for playoff games, singing a version of the Led Zeppelin classic, "Black Dog."  Watch a clip of the intro below.
