Pop icon Rick Springfield was arrested in Malibu, California over the weekend on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.  The 61 year-old was taken into custody late Sunday night after failing a sobriety test, administered by police after pulling over his vintage corvette for speeding.  Springfield has been released on bail and is due for a preliminary hearing in the case on July 5th.
