Legendary Nirvana drummer and Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, blasted Ryan Murphy, the creator of the popular FOX television series, "Glee," for the audacity of expecting all musicians to want their music featured on the show. "It's every band's right, you shouldn't have to do fucking Glee," the 42 year-old singer said. "Dude, maybe not everyone loves Glee. Me included. I watched 10 minutes and it wasn't my thing."
Earlier this year, Murphy lashed out at the Kings of Leon and Guns n' Roses guitarist Slash, who had declined to allow their music to be used, and Grohl took offense to the comments. "The guy who created Glee is so offended that we're not, like, begging to be on his fucking show," said Grohl. "Fuck that guy for thinking anybody and everybody should want to do Glee."
