Singer Nelly Furtado took to her Twitter account Monday to announce she would be donating money paid to her by Libyan dictator Muammae el-Qaddafi for a concert she performed in the country four years ago. "In 2007, I received 1million$ from the Qaddafi clan to perform a 45 min. Show for guests at a hotel in Italy," the Tweet read. "I am going to donate the $." Members of the music industry are also calling on other stars to donate earnings gained from the dictator to charity, including Beyonce, Usher, Mariah Carey, and 50 Cent.
